Did y’all know Jill has Type I diabetes? Yup, that’s me, Tink, rockin’ the insulin pump.

This year Sarah is riding a whole bunch of miles to help with diabetes research, and we are helping her out by selling raffle tix to support her ride. You could win it all… 2 skeins of Sylph cashmere/linen blend to make a loverly little shawl. Come on in to enter the drawing!

And yes, those are Texas Kumquats, and yes, those are Guatemalan bracelets…

Nekkid Chucho

Poor Chucho. He had too much fun in Texas with his cousins, and he had to get shaved down to his nekkid pink skin. So i made him a pretty little mat to snuggle up on. But still he was trembling with shame and the chilly New England Springtime.

The after-school Yarns in the Farms Kids Kamp came to the rescue. They measured his neck, picked out 3 skeins of Spud and Chloe Outer, a soft velvety bulky washable yarn with 50% wool and 50% cotton. They figured out gauge, and we made it up as we went along. No fear! Now Chucho is all gussied up. And warm!

This is Lexi. She has unofficially been “first shop girl” since she was 5 years old. Now, at the ripe old age of 13, she has joined the Yarns in the Farms knit-team on Saturday mornings. Come say hey. OH and notice her new Floofy skirt!
