Tink and Wink have been partners at YITF for 6 years. The original Knitini gals, they have snorkeled with sharks in Belize, driven the roads in Italy, and hopped Harleys at ROT (Republic of Texas Bikers Rally).
About a year ago, Wink decided that the knitting life is a bit too sedentary, and decided to pass her half of the Yarns in the Farms torch to Tink (What, you never knew there was a YITF torch?). So last February, the flaming torch was tossed from Wink to Tink, in a firey arc across the sky. Tink suffered minor burns but luckily was not wearing any acrylic knitwear, so she has recovered nicely (accept for that scar but pretend you don’t notice).
In the intervening months, Wink has continued working at YITF, to our mutual delight. Alas, Wink has now decided to venture out into the wider world to begin a new enterprise cross breeding rare endangered VIRGIN ACRYLICS with PUERTO RICAN STREET DOGS to create a new fiber blend called “Chaste Chacha”.
It will only burn if it loses its virginity.
We are sad to see her go, but she will be making guest appearances in her (slightly scorched) new knitwear.
Please come and celebrate Carolyn at the original KNITINI bar,

This is sand, under a 250x microscope.
Look at the tiny shells. I am strangely comforted to see these tiny creatures living their full lives, in such a parallel universe to mine.

If we WERE to have a TRUCK show I would want THIS one. I saw it FOR SALE on the side of the road the other day, and when I went back it was GONE.
I am feeling very grumpy about it. Grab it for me if you find it.

This is Stori, Yarns in the Farms’ newest shop guru. She inspires, right?
I first encountered Stori a few years ago, when she did not show up for a class at the shop. I called her contact number. She answered, and when I told her that she was missing the class, she smugly told me that she was in the ICU after having open heart surgery. I replied that that was a poor excuse and she could not expect a refund. She showed up at the shop 2 weeks later with her IV pole. What pluck.
She is wearing the Eden Scarf.
One day later… Maybe she needs more training?

Look at me!
Okay, look at the guy if you must. Nice. Right?
What is Tink praying for? Just a quick wink would be appreciated.
Prayer obviously not specific enough.

Fried food. That is Chicken fried steak, fried okra, fried catfish, and fried hushpuppies, y’all.
The Divide one room school house in Real County. That is Re-AL, y’all. Note the stretch Cadillac school bus. And there is a black one out back in the pasture. The cattle guard keeps the livestock from getting out onto the road.
